Terms of use

1. Who we are

The site belongs to the Romanian Evangelical Church in Geneva, Carrefour du Bouchet 4, 1209 Geneva. It is hosted at Infomaniak, in Switzerland, together with the database.

2. Using the site

You may read the public pages, follow the stream and the recordings, and write to us through the contact form.

The texts, photographs, and the church mark remain the church’s. You may share them with a link to the site. Do not republish them as if they were yours, and do not use them commercially without our agreement.

3. Members’ area

The account is opened by the church. You cannot create an account yourself from the sign-in page.

Keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account. If the password has reached someone else, write to us so we can change it.

Announcements, the group list, and other members’ data are for the life of the church. Do not copy them outside the community.

4. Gifts

A gift is a gift, not the purchase of a product. You can give online, through Stripe, by card or TWINT, or by transfer to the Migros Bank accounts shown on the page.

A successful online gift is not returned through the site. If you gave by mistake, write to pastor@eerg.ch and we will see together what can be done.

5. Recordings and the stream

The player on the site loads content from the church YouTube channel. Its availability also depends on YouTube.

Sermons and music remain with the speakers and the church. You may listen from the site. Redistributing a recording, beyond the public link, needs agreement.

6. What is not allowed

• Trying to enter an account that is not yours.
• Uploading or sending something illegal, offensive, or unrelated to the church.
• Disrupting the site, looking for weaknesses, or copying the database.
• Using the forms for bulk messages.

7. Availability

We look after the site, but it may be stopped for an update or for an interruption of hosting at Infomaniak. Schedule information can be corrected; for a particular meeting, confirm with the church if you need certainty.

8. Privacy

Data sent through the site is handled as the privacy policy says. These terms and the policy are read together.

9. Applicable law

Swiss law applies. For a dispute that is not settled by a conversation, the courts of the canton of Geneva are competent, without limiting the rights the law reserves to you as a person.
